Alexander Gutov
(Sasha for short)

Hello! A few words about me. I was born in Saint-Petersburg, Russia and still I live here.

While I was a child I was interested in mechanics, radio electronics and later in computers. These hobbies, affected my life significantly. After school I entered the Saint Petersburg University of Airspace Instrumentation.

Soon after graduation I started to work as a computer programmer for a big company in Saint-Petersburg.

In Autumn 2002 I married Dasha and since that time I have one more hobby — traveling. Besides I have three more things that I am interested in very much. These are:
Photography. I started to take pictures in 2000 with my dad's old camera (Russian manual 35mm camera Zenit) and film by film I was involved into that process more and more.
Bicycle riding. I ride bike since I remember myself. It brings me a great pleasure. Most of all I like to ride in the suburbs of Saint-Petersburg.
Computers. I like everything that is concerned with computers. From time to time I write some programs for myself. I also dream to create some hardware unit for computer. Lately I became to be interested in web-design and web-programming. This site is a result of this interest.
